How can anyone forget the fabulous wedding of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani which stunned the world with its sheer grandeur? The Ambani scion tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Shloka Mehta in an incredibly lavish wedding ceremony at the Jio World Center in Bandra.

The three-day long extravaganza culminated in the wedding ceremony on 9th March which saw many leading celebrities and world leaders in attendance. Shloka Mehta is the daughter of Russel Mehta, the owner of Rosy Blue diamonds.

Though the wedding festivities are over, the Ambanis are still in the news for the wedding gift that they have given for their new daughter–in–law. As per a report that appeared in the Women’s Era magazine, Nita Ambani has gifted her daughter–in–law Shloka an exclusive diamond necklace which is worth a whopping Rs 300 crore.

Nita Ambani, reportedly wanted to gift Shloka a precious gold necklace which has been in the family for generations and it is the duty of the eldest daughter–in–law to keep it. However, Nita changed her mind and decided to gift something extremely special to Shloka.

Leading jeweler ‘Mouawad’ was entrusted to craft the unique piece, in intricate design, using precious and expensive diamonds. There are reports that the diamond necklace, worth Rs 300 crore, is the most expensive jewelry in the world.

Meanwhile, Akash’s sister Isha had gifted her sister – in – law a beautiful palatial bungalow. Akash and Shloka had studied together at the Dhirubai Ambani International School and their beautiful friendship that began here had culminated in wedding.

Shloka is the youngest among Russel and Mona Mehta’s three children. Having completed her master’s degree in law from the famed London School of Economics, Shloka is currently one of the directors of the Rosy Blue diamonds. Meanwhile, Akash Ambani is in charge of the Jio communications.
