New Delhi: In a display of empowerment, acid attack survivors, walked the runway in a fashion show here.

These survivors from Chhanv Foundation work at the International Women Polytechnic (IWP), and receive free skill development training. They walked at the women institution's cultural evening 'Meraki' last week.

The event was attended by BJP Delhi President Manoj Tiwari, who said, "Women nowadays are marching ahead and making a mark for themselves. We as a society have a responsibility that we should create such an environment which helps them fly high and progress. We should be united against all the evils against women and raise our voice strongly."
