Who doesn’t crave for soft, silky tresses? We are all tired of frizzy, unmanageable hair. But the million-dollar question will always be how to achieve them. If our hair lacks the necessary moisture to maintain the texture and silkiness, it can turn dry. Don’t fret! We have some easy solutions to fix that and all these ingredients are available in your kitchen.

Egg whites
Take a Tbsp of olive oil, two drops of honey, and the whites of two eggs and nicely beat them together. Apply this concoction to your hair with a brush. Cover your head with a shower cap and rest for 20 minutes. Later wash with a mild shampoo. Egg white contains protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Biotin, and folate and repairs damaged hair.

Aloe Vera
Extract the colourless gel from the aloe vera plant and nicely beat it. Make sure you add two tbsp of water to it. Now apply this mixture to your hair and keep it for 30 minutes. Later wash your hair with lukewarm water. Aloe Vera contains proteolytic enzymes which repair the damaged cells present in your scalp. This helps in hair hydration and growth and also keeps your tresses conditioned all through the day.

Curd
Take a cup of curd, 2 tbsp olive oil, and 4 drops of lavender oil. Mix them nicely and apply them to your hair. After 20 minutes wash with a mild shampoo. Curd reduces dandruff, aids hair growth, keeps your scalp clean, and nourishes and moisturises your hair. It also boosts newer hair growth.

Banana
After mashing one ripe banana in a bowl, add 2 drops of lavender essential oil. Nicely mix it. Now carefully apply the mixture on the roots of your hair and keep it for 30 minutes. Later wash with a conditioner. Bananas are rich in potassium, help in blood circulation, and also prevent hair loss. It has antimicrobial properties and helps in relieving dandruff.
