Utsav 2023: Where India's ethnic fashion meets charity

Utsav, synonymous with India's rich sartorial tradition is back in Kerala with yet another show of craftsmanship and style. Utsav 2023, the 18th edition of the exhibition in Kottayam, is being organised by Kottayam Ladies Circle no.48.

Award-winning designers from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Coimbatore and Madurai will showcase designer saris, kurtis, western wear, children’s apparel, jewellery, footwear, Christmas decor and home decor.

Like in the past years, this year too the organizers have committed all proceeds of this event to charitable endeavours including building classroom blocks, smart classrooms, labs, washrooms and other tools and facilities for government schools, help for the physically challenged, women empowerment and even waste management, among others.

In Kottayam, this year’s Utsav is on the 22nd and 23rd of November at the Benjamin Bailey Hall, Chalukunnu. The exhibition will be open from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm on the exhibition days.

Utsav Kochi will be held at Avenue Center Hotel, Panampily Nagar, on 25th November, from 9:30 am to 8pm. This is the 14th year of Utsav in Kochi. Entry is free.
