Like all expatriates, Muhammed Ali too had dreamed of building a house of his own at his hometown in Kerala. After years of hard work and meticulous planning, he finally realized the dream. Muhammed Ali beams with pride as he shows around his brand new luxury house at Mukkom in Kozhikode, Kerala. The family wanted their abode to feature unique designs and style, with all the modern facilities.
It was architect Shaiju Suhail who designed their amazing house, catering to the interests and preferences of the family members. The house, built on 23 cents of land, has lots of space in the front yard and features incredibly beautiful landscaping. The aesthetically done landscaping highlights the majestic exteriors of the house. The front yard is paved with natural stone. Lush green meadows and beautiful flower gardens complete the landscape. The well, textured in the design of a stump of wood, is an eye-catching feature here.
A scintillating fusion of contemporary and traditional architectural styles gives the house impeccable charm and grace. Beige coloured roof tiles are paved on the slanting roof. There is a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, upper living area, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area and five bedrooms in this beautiful house which has an area of 3800 sq ft. The interiors are designed in the classy theme of white and wooden theme.
The formal living area is arranged in a way that gives enough privacy to the guests. The family living area, dining space and the courtyard are designed as part of the open hall. The Italian marbles lend a majestic look to the lower floor. Wooden tiles too are paved on the floor in some areas here. Meanwhile, vitrified tiles are used on the upper storey. The textured walls are the highlight of each area.
The dining table can comfortably accommodate ten persons. A pantry table and a crockery counter complete the dining area. The handrails of the stairway feature the classic combination of wood and toughened glass finish. Storage spaces are arranged beneath the stairway.
There is a pergola roof in GI and toughened glass on the balcony which is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing evening watching the beautiful garden outside. This is also the family’s favorite space to gather on special occasions.
All the five bedrooms are vast and spacious. The bath-attached bedrooms have full length wardrobes, separate dressing areas and sitting spaces.
The cupboards in the kitchen are done in acrylic and mica finish. Fridge and oven are arranged built-in in the kitchen. The huge windows welcome lots of sunshine into the interiors. The excellent cross ventilation helps maintain a pleasant atmosphere inside the house.
Muhammed Ali and his family are elated that their dream dwelling had turned out more beautiful and elegant than they have imagined. He vows that the positive energy that fills the interiors is reflected in their lives as well. Muhammed Ali has no doubts when he says that his brand new house has given unique and special meaning to his life.
