Abdul Fathah and Febina Fathah, an expatriate couple, dreamed of owning a beautiful abode in their hometown in Kerala, to spend their holidays. Their dream came true when they bought a 1200 sq ft flat in Manjeri. The couple had entrusted young designer Arshak to decorate their brand new flat. They had given him creative freedom to transform their flat into a dreamy abode which emanates classy elegance. Abdul and Febina say, in unison, that the interiors are now brimming with positive energy and lively vibes.
The spaces in the flat looked congested when it was bought. However, Arshak made it sure to adopt unique design features which make the interiors look vast and spacious. The passage to the kitchen was partly demolished to make it spacious and alterations were done in the frontage of the flat as well. A sliding door has been installed in the balcony to let in natural light. Curtain fittings with vertical lines are used to make the interior spaces look vaster.
The elegance of neutral shades of colours dons the interiors. The classy combination of green and white hues and the furnishing done in marine ply veneer add to the pleasant look of the flat. The theme of minimalism has been followed in the interiors and the custom-made furniture does justice to this theme.
The living and the dining spaces and the kitchen are arranged in a single module by avoiding partitions. This feature helps the spaces look incredibly vast and spacious. The dining table top, in shiny Korean stone, is an eye catching feature here. Meanwhile, nano white is paved on the kitchen counter top. The shutters installed on the windows are all in marine ply veneer. A breakfast counter too has been arranged as part of the open kitchen.
The two bedrooms are designed by giving prime importance to the theme of minimalism. However, the furnishing features add a pop of colour which makes the rooms extremely pleasant. Besides wardrobe units, additional storage spaces are arranged beneath the cots as well.
Arshak has designed this flat by following the theme of minimalism and highlighting it with classy features, with a hint of pleasant greenish hue. Abdul and Febina are extremely proud that their dream dwelling looks as beautiful as they have imagined and can’t wait to spend some amazing moments in their charmingly elegant flat.
