Child artist Thamanna Pramod impressed everyone in her dual role in the psychological thriller Forensic. Those who watched the movie wouldn’t forget the actor’s amazing performance in the shocking interval sequence. Thamanna, who is settled in Abu Dhabi, wouldn’t stop talking if she is asked about her homes. She is equally fond of her quaint flat in Abu Dhabi and her parents’ spacious homes in Kumaranellor. Meanwhile, she is excited about the family’s brand new house that is currently under construction in Thrissur.

Flat in Abu Dhabi

“Usually, everyone says they love homes with spacious yards and gardens. I too like houses like that. We even have spacious homes with front and back yards in Kerala. My parents’ ancestral homes are at Kumaranellor in Palakkad. Besides, we are constructing our dream home in Thrissur. But, my favourite abode is our flat in Abu Dhabi. I am attached to it may be because I have lived here more than I have stayed in our houses in Kerala. I feel sad when I have to stay away from this flat for long durations. My mother had worked really hard to transform this flat into a comfortable home. Two bedrooms and the hall are the main features in our flat. My mother is fond of doing interior designing. So, she has arranged lots of indoor plants in here,” says Thamanna.

Favorite spot

Thamanna says her favorite spot in her house is the library. The family enjoys reading and has a decent collection of books as well. So they have arranged a quaint spot where they keep the books and can read peacefully. “My parents and I enjoy reading very much. We own a good collection of books. Those books are arranged neatly on shelves in the library space. They are arranged in the order of our preferences,” notes the young actress.

Meanwhile, Thamanna’s room is indeed her special world where she loves spending time. From studying, reading and attending online classes to practicing dance, Thamanna shares a close bond with her room.

Home memories

Thammana loves both her parents’ ancestral homes in Kerala. There are favourite spots for her in both the houses. She is attracted to the beautiful balcony in her father’s home. There is a cane swing in the balcony in which she loves to relax and enjoy the nature or read a book. Meanwhile, the spacious backyards at her mother’s house never fail to enchant her. “You have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the entrance. I have a special liking for those stairs. Besides, there are lots of mango trees and a guava tree in the front yard. Lots of butterflies and dragonflies are spotted in the garden as well,” says Thammana.

Dream home

The construction of the family’s dream dwelling is progressing at Thrissur. Thamanna says that more than her dream, the house is in fact her parents’ dream. “We have chosen a unique plan and design for our new house. There is a floor below the level of the road. We wish to arrange a modern home theatre system there. Besides the spacious verandah, there is a special spot for us to enjoy the rains as well. I was given the freedom to design my own room. Turquoise green and purple are my favourite hues. So, my dream is to have my hand prints, in these colours, on the walls of my room. Besides, my dance photos too should adorn the walls. I dream to live in our brand new house with my paternal and maternal grandparents as well,” smiles Thamanna.
