Jobin’s colonial themed house at Matoor near Angamaly has already become the talk of the town for its classy features and modern amenities. The family wanted the construction to be completed as soon as possible, that too within a specific budget. Architect Anoop who has designed this fabulous abode is proud that he could complete the house within the allotted time itself.

Though the house is just 2.5 kilometers away from the Cochin International Airport, the area doesn’t have the bustle of the city. The house stands on a 13 cents plot closer to Jobin’s ancestral home. The exteriors don the elegant features of the colonial architectural style. Beautiful highlights in eye catching colors instantly draw attention to the elevation.

Slope roof paved with shingles adds an elegant charm to the house. Though the house is two storey, the compact features make it look like single storey. Designed in 2582 sq ft area, this splendid house has a car porch, sit out, living and dining areas, kitchen with work area, four bedrooms and two balconies as well.

From the sit out, one could enter the formal living area. The prayer space is arranged close to this area. Besides multi wood and veneer furnishing, attractive wall papers too adorn this space. Custom made furniture pieces, false ceiling and LED lighting make the interiors look classy and posh. The TV wall is highlighted in an interesting box shape with veneer finish.

The dining table and the chairs are made from the timber of pal kaini tree that had stood in the plot. The semi spiral stairway is incredibly attractive. The hand railings, meanwhile, features the classic combination of steel and wood.

Two bedrooms each are arranged in both the floors. The bath attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes for storage.

The kitchen is furnished in multi wood with nano white finish. Meanwhile, the cabinets are done in multi wood and veneer. The same patterns could be seen on the ceiling as well.

Though there are two balconies in this house, they aren’t easily spotted from the outside. The family is excited that they could move into their brand new house without any delay in construction.
