Muhammad Ali’s brand new house at Thalapara in Malappuram district in Kerala is an elegant house with all the modern facilities that is easy to maintain too. The new house is closer to his ancestral home. Beautiful show walls adorned with claddings are the highlight of this contemporary style house. The amazing green shade on the borders elevates the wow factor of the exteriors.
Designed in 2800 sqft, this fabulous abode has a sit out, formal and family living areas, dining space, and kitchen with work area, four bedrooms and a balcony.
The spaces designed in the semi open style makes the interiors vaster. A chic ‘L’ shaped couch is what adorns the formal living area. The plywood ceiling here is incredibly attractive. The unique design of the 8 seater dining table and the chairs is quite eye catching.
The custom made furniture gels with the general theme of the house. Readymade furniture pieces cannot be seen in this well furnished house. Instead of expensive timber like teak wood, plywood has been mostly used for furnishing.
Exquisite Italian marble has been paved on the floor in the ground floor. Meanwhile, vitrified tiles are used for flooring in the upper storey. Interestingly, the upper floor is simple and hasn’t been furnished much.
The hand railings of the stairway are done in the classic combination of wood and toughened glass. Meanwhile, the steps are made in mahogany wood.
Two bedrooms each are arranged in both the floors. The bath attached bedrooms have in built wardrobes for storage.
The kitchen cabinets are made in marine ply wood with laminate finish. Meanwhile, the counter top has been paved with granite. A quaint breakfast counter too is part of the spacious kitchen.
The structure is built by leaving lots of space in the front. The spacious yard is paved with beautiful kota stones. A cute and minimal garden too has been arranged as part of the landscape. The family is joyous that they got the perfect abode, just as they had dreamed.
