The elevation celebrates the fabulous features of contemporary and modern architectural styles.

Aneesh PV who runs a successful business at his hometown in Edavanna near Nilambur shares the experiences of building his dream abode here. The family wanted their brand-new house to stand out for its unique features and spectacular designs. So, they approached noted architect Muneer to design their house.

The elevation celebrates the fabulous features of contemporary and modern architectural styles. The fundermax panels and the grey cladding wall play vital roles in adding the perfect contrast against the white-hued outer walls.

Designed in 6000 sqft, this fabulous mansion has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area, five bedrooms, upper living area and an open balcony.

A pocket road runs in front of the house. So, the boundary walls aren’t too tall, without blocking the amazing view of the elevation. In some spots, terracotta jali has been used instead of the regular brick wall. Besides the main gate, there is a traditional padipura or gateway too. The cement texture finish of the gateway grants it an elegant rustic charm. The spacious driveway has been paved with natural stones. Meanwhile, the verdant lawns and the beautiful garden make the landscape shine.

The interiors are designed in a semi-open style. This allows communication between the spaces possible even while ensuring enough privacy. The grand elegance of Italian marble flooring is the highlight of the interiors. Meanwhile, wooden flooring too has been done in some areas. Most of the furniture pieces that give an opulent and regal ambience to the interiors have been imported.

The entrance door opens to a foyer which leads to the posh formal living area that boasts of the double-height ceiling. The splendid charm of imported furniture turns this area into a haven of luxury. Meanwhile, a TV unit has been arranged in the family living area designed in a compact style.

Interestingly, a door in the family living area opens to a spectacular buffer zone decorated with a vertical garden and a quaint fountain. This is the family’s favourite spot to enjoy some wonderful moments in each other’s company.

The dining area, designed in the double-height, has a skylight ceiling that brings oodles of natural light into the house. There is a pantry counter close to the dining space. A wall here is highlighted with grey colour to add classy vibes. The staircase, meanwhile, feature the mesmerizing combination of wood and glass, that never fails to impress. This leads to a beautifully furnished and spacious upper living area.

Three bedrooms have been arranged on the ground floor while two are on the upper floor. All the bedrooms are designed in unique colour themes. The highlighted head side walls add a splendid ambience to the bedrooms.

The kitchen cabinets, meanwhile, are done in marine plywood with planilaque glass finish. The countertop has been paved with Korean stone. A part of the countertop has been designed in the detached style to be turned into a quaint breakfast spot. High chairs have been added here.

The owner and his family are elated that they have moved into their dream dwelling that celebrates luxury and classy designs.
