Megastar Mohanlal has owned a new residence in Kochi. The house-warming ceremony was held on Wednesday in the presence of a few close friends and relatives. The flat is located at the Identity building complex in Kundanoor. The flat is said to be a 9000 sq ft duplex, which combines the 15th and 14th floors of the building.
The flat in the heights is said to feature luxurious amenities, which can rival any lavish villa. Meanwhile, the highlight of the new haven is a Lambretta scooter installed at the entrance. Mohanlal had used the scooter in his movie 'Ittimany'. The number plate features '2255' reminding his famous dialogue, "My phone number is 2255” in the movie 'Rajavinte Makan'.
While the ground floor features a guest living room, dining, pooja room, pantry kitchen and working kitchen. Mohanlal has set his kitchen very elaborately hinting at the actor's special liking for culinary stints. There are four magnificent bedrooms in the flat, apart from the make-up room as well as the staff room.
The actor mainly resides in his sea-facing abode in Chennai. He also owns a house in Thevara in Kochi, which is undergoing repair work at present.
A year ago, Mohanlal owned a luxury flat in RP Heights in Dubai.
