Thalassery house
The magnificent elevation of this palatial mansion features a unique fusion of Arabian and classic architecture.

Jafar who runs a construction business in Qatar had myriad dreams when he decided to build his own house at his hometown in Chettukkunnu near Thalassery. He wanted his brand new house to be an iconic structure in the locality, with its signature style and amazing amenities.

The magnificent elevation of this palatial mansion features a unique fusion of Arabian and classic architecture. Meanwhile, the interiors boast of splendor and spectacular facilities that would give any luxury resort a run for its money. The mesmerizing elevation is just like a ‘teaser’ that gives a glimpse of the grand opulence of the interiors. The giant pillars in double height, the incredibly spacious car porch and the beautiful chandelier lend a regal charm to the elevation.

The interior designing team had taken over after the construction of the structure was completed in 2022 January. The owner and his family were keen to celebrate the housewarming ritual in July as they wanted to return to Qatar before the football World Cup began. So, the interior works were done within a short span of just six months.

The imperial mansion that sprawls in 9000 sqft has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living area, dining space, show kitchen, pantry kitchen and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there are four more bedrooms, an upper living area, a balcony and an open terrace in the upper floor.

The extravagance and opulence of the interiors are truly mind-blowing. The double-height window above the entrance door has been exclusively carved in mahogany. The intricate carving works instantly draw attention. The expensive Italian marble flooring adds a splendid ambience. The interiors reflect a golden sheen when lights fall on the marble.

Interestingly, most of the interior walls have been covered with attractive panelling. Besides the mahogany and multi-wood panelling, the walls are adorned with beautiful wallpapers and curtain fittings that were imported from Turkey. Meanwhile, the unique furniture pieces that are imported from Indonesia complete the regal look of the interiors. The firm that did the interior designing deserves credit for importing such amazing furniture from their factory in Indonesia.

The double-height spaces make the interiors look and feel incredibly spacious. The formal living area is elegantly furnished and has enough privacy too. Meanwhile, the dining area, family living space and the stair are all part of the spacious hall.

The warm-toned lighting creates a magical ambience inside the house. The chandeliers that are imported from Dubai are unique pieces. Besides, the gypsum false ceiling that features fabulous cut designs and the LED lighting sets the mood of each area in the house.

The expensive dining table set can easily accommodate up to twelve guests. Meanwhile, the double-height wall highlighted with blue marble texture paint is the focal point here.

The royal staircase with its alloy handmade railings is a glorious designer element. The antique gold finish painting adds a touch of regal elegance to the staircase. Interestingly, the hand railings are extended to the upper floor too.

The modern kitchen too is filled with luxurious amenities. The cupboards of the working kitchen are done in acrylic with laminate finish. Meanwhile, the show kitchen has been furnished with HDHMR sheets. The island kitchen reflects the serene charm of nano-white tops.

The bedrooms are luxuriously furnished in unique themes. The bath-attached bedrooms have walk-in wardrobes for storage, dressing spaces and working areas too.

The compound wall and the gate too has been designed luxuriously to match the magnificence of the elevation. Besides the main gate, there is a wicket gate too. The marvelous structure exudes resplendence when the warm-toned highlighter lights are switched on at night. The family, meanwhile, is proud that their brand-new mansion has become the talk of the town.
