Anilkumar’s contemporary house in Varikkamkunnu in Kottayam, Kerala has been amassing praises from everyone for its stylish elevation and unique designer elements. Interestingly, the structure has been designed to suit the plot that lies in multiple levels. So, the interiors too are designed in three levels. However, it is not quite evident from the outside as the elevation charms with interesting geometrical patterns.
Designed in 4600 sqft, this fabulous abode has a living area, dining space, courtyard and kitchen on the entry-level. The master bedroom and the swimming pool are on a level that is five feet above this. Meanwhile, there are two more bedrooms and an upper living area at ten feet in height.
The spacious living–dining hall is designed in the open style. Glass sliding doors line the sides of this area. These doors open to the deck and the outer courtyard.
The staircase in an asymmetric pattern never fails to attract attention. These have been designed in the same pattern of the steps in front of the house that leads to the entrance.
Vitrified tiles have been paved on the floor of this house. Meanwhile, most of the furniture pieces are custom-made to suit the unique theme of the house. However, a few pieces are ready-made and are equally attractive.
The use of timber is limited. Only the main entrance door is crafted in exquisite teak wood to ensure classy looks and sturdiness. Meanwhile, most of the doors in the interiors are readymade.
The bedrooms are as chic as a luxurious resort. Interestingly, a swimming pool has been arranged beside the master bedroom. The bedrooms are bath-attached and have separate dressing areas and study spaces too.
The pantry kitchen is close to the dining area. The cabinets, meanwhile, are done in multi-wood with a laminate finish to add that glossy finish. The countertop has been paved with granite.
This smart home runs on a modern automation system. The lights, fans and security sensors could be controlled using a smartphone. This excellent house welcomes you into a magical world of scintillating designer elements and modern technology.
