Jose’s brand-new house at the countryside of Pareppally in Changanassery, Kerala boasts a fabulous fusion of trendy tropical and contemporary styles. The house stands in a 12-cent plot that is a bit raised from the road level. The elevation features an elegant combination of flat and sloped roof. Besides acting as an attractive designer element, the clay tile cladding adds the perfect contrast against the white exterior walls.
Designed in 2773 sqft, the beautiful abode has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, courtyard, kitchen with a work area and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, the upper floor has two more bedrooms, balcony and an open terrace. The ground floor has an area of 1865 sqft while the upper floor is in 908 sqft.
The spotlights added within the concrete ceiling without a false ceiling is an interesting feature. Meanwhile, the huge windows bring golden sunshine into the house during the day. The custom-made furniture pieces match the general theme of the house. The TV unit is installed in the cosy family living area. Interestingly, a wall here has been turned into a photo wall.
The dining table set in teak wood and glass combination is a classic piece. Meanwhile, the chairs are made in teak and enhanced with simple upholstery work. A serving counter too has been arranged as part of the dining area. An overhead showcase completes the dining area.
The spacious kitchen is the highlight of the interiors. Interestingly, there is no partition between the main kitchen and workarea. The modular kitchen is equipped with all the modern facilities and appliances including inbuilt oven and dishwasher. Meanwhile, nano white has been paved on the countertop. Lots of pull – out storage units too have been arranged here to make the kitchen extremely space efficient.
Interestingly, the four bedrooms are designed similarly. Dressing areas and attached bathrooms with separate dry and wet areas too are part of the chic bedrooms.
Some part of the roof has been turned into a multi-utility space by paving roofing sheet above.
The house has been designed to make maintenance hassle-free for the family. This is an excellent model for contemporary homes that have all the facilities demanded by modern lifestyle.
