Noushad and his family wanted their brand-new house at the countryside of Taliparamba in Kannur, Kerala to stand out from the rest in the neighbourhood that feature regular designs and patterns. The contemporary designer elements in RCC slabs and the wooden louvers add an alluring charm to the elevation. The plot is a bit raised; hence you could enjoy the calming views of the faraway mountains. Windows without grille have been installed on the outer walls to bring in these breathtaking sceneries.

The landscaping has been done quite aesthetically to complement the elevation of the house. The driveway is paved with cobble-stones for a neat look while the verdant lawns have many plants and trees too.

Designed in 4300 sqft, this palatial mansion has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining area, courtyard, kitchen with adjacent courtyard, two bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there are two more bedrooms, bathrooms and a balcony too on the first floor. The interiors have been designed in semi-open style. Even while allowing visual connectivity between the spaces, semi-partitions have been used to ensure enough privacy.

Interestingly, the furniture in the formal living area sports a unique design as if it is suspended on huge pillar here. Meanwhile, the family living area has a double-height ceiling which is done in exposed cement finish.

The dining table is incredibly chic and looks quite interesting too. It has been designed in the floating style like it is suspended on two huge pillars. Meanwhile, the table and the chairs are crafted in sturdy timber. The elegant furniture pieces made in exquisite teak wood gels well with the rustic-minimal theme of the house.

The courtyard with the double-height ceiling and the skylight ensures that the interiors are illuminated with golden rays of natural sunshine. Meanwhile, the wall here is highlighted with classy laterite cladding work. The indoor plants add a vibrant greenery to this area.

The spacious bedrooms don a rustic finish in order to exude warmth and cosiness. The fabulous fusion of concrete and shades of white could be seen in the bedrooms. Besides attached bathrooms, there are in-built wardrobes and separate dressing spaces too.

The house looks magnificent when it is showered in the warm-toned light of the highlighter lamps at night. The family, meanwhile, is proud that their dream dwelling has instantly become the talk of the town.
