Sharwan’s brand new house at Malappuram, Kerala stands out for its classy contemporary elevation. The plot was raised before the construction started as this area is prone to flooding.

In addition to the flat box elevation, the double layered roof grants a chic ambience to the structure. The window in the front is projected out, also acting as a sitting space. Meanwhile, the front yard has been paved with Kadapa and natural stones in alternate layers. In-built sitting is arranged in the sit-out too.

Designed in 3400 sqft, this chic abode has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with a work area and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there are two more bedrooms, a living area and a balcony upstairs.

The custom-made furniture pieces perfectly complement the general theme of the house. The customised couch in the formal living area looks classy while WPC panelling has been done on the wall on one side.

The white vitrified table top adds a delightful sheen to the simple yet elegant dining table set. Meanwhile, the ceilings are adorned with majestic chandeliers and pendant lights.

Instead of a standard hand railing, metal pipes are erected in some parts of the staircase. The in-built sitting area on the first landing is a cosy spot.

The head side walls in each room are highlighted using designer panelling works. Meanwhile, the circular cot in the master bedroom enhances the luxurious ambience of the room. These bedrooms, coupled with ensuite bathrooms, wardrobes and dressing spaces, are spots of exuberance and comfort.

The breakfast counter separates the kitchen from the dining area. The kitchen has nano white paved countertop and cabinets in laminate finish. The designer tiles on the back splash add a touch of elegance here.
