Nidhi Balakrishnan who is an expatriate shares an intimate bond with the picturesque countryside Kanjani, his hometown in Thrissur. The unique traditions and the cultural heritage of this village has always inspired the owner of this palatial mansion. Although the magnificent structure looks like a two-storey building from the outside, it has only one floor. The tall truss roof above the flat roof grants a mesmerizing elegance to the elevation. Besides, the vacant area between both roofs could be used as a multi-utility space.

Spawled in 7500 sqft, this splendid mansion has a spacious sit-ut, formal living area, dining space, kitchen, six bedrooms and bathrooms. The interiors are decked with classy timber furnishing, adding to the opulence of the traditional spaces.

The grand and spacious sit-out which is built a foot above the ground level is projected like an elevated stage. Intricate carvings on teak panel adorn the ceiling here. Meanwhile, the sit-out extends to the three sides as cosy verandas where the glorious arches grant a regal charm to the structure.

The mansion often witnesses elaborate gatherings of friends and family, filling the interiors with joy and jocund spirit. Meanwhile, the areas are spacious enough to accommodate any number of guests.

The courtyard, which is the soul of the interiors, is quite expansive and stands out as the most amazing highlight. Moreover, the rooms in the house open to the beautiful courtyard that exudes boundless allure and positivity.

The tastefully furnished dining area is where you could see the enchanting elegance of timber-works. The chic bay window near the dining table is also used as an area to sit and relax.

The six bedrooms are incredibly spacious and are designed in attractive patterns, sleek colour themes, beautiful flooring works and eye-catching headside walls. These rooms have bay windows that open to the scintillating views outside, ensuite bathrooms and storage space.

The modern island kitchen is lined with lots of cabinets in wooden finish. Besides the main kitchen, there is a working kitchen too. The owner enjoys hosting his large groups of friends and relatives whenever he is home for the holiday. So, this mansion is not just a home but an abode of friendship and love.
