Sainul and his family preferred having earthy tones for their brand-new house at Ponnani in Malappuram, Kerala, as it emanates a classy charm. A flat roof in the midst of multiple layers of sloped roofs adds an aesthetic geometry and an exceedingly beautiful dimension to the elevation. Meanwhile, the designer brick cladding enhanced with concrete texture and glass is the highlight of the exterior wall.

The cobble-stoned gate opens to the splendidly done landscape with a driveway paved with Bangalore stones and grass in alternate layers.
Designed in 3500 sqft, this fabulous mansion has a sit-out, living and dining areas, courtyard, kitchen with a work area, two bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there is a living area, two more bedrooms and a balcony upstairs.

The double-height ceiling at the formal and family living areas as well as the dining space make the hall look incredibly spacious. The restrained hues of the exteriors belie the vibrant and luxuriously furnished interiors. Mini glass windows in multiple hues cast a delightful play of colours inside the house.

The skylight area near the dining space is the soul of this house. Here, a double-height wall is done in rustic cement finish while the other one dons beautiful brick cladding. A classic console table and fresh indoor plants adorn this cozy spot. Meanwhile, the golden sunrays draw spectacular shapes and patterns on the wall at different times of the day.

The cabinets in the kitchen are done in WPC. The countertop, meanwhile, has been paved with nano white. A sleek breakfast area too has been arranged as part of the modern kitchen. The classy Moroccan tiles on the backsplash add a touch of Middle Eastern charm in this kitchen.

The bedrooms are quite simple with the headrests highlighted in popping colours. MS grill and glass-work are added to the double-height ceiling to illuminate the upstairs area with natural sunshine. Meanwhile, the staircase that gracefully extends throughout the upper floor is a mesmerizing designer element.

Natural light and cool breeze enter the house with freedom and ease. The interiors are cooler with a pleasant ambience as the ceilings are higher and concrete is avoided in the roofing.
