Weeding improves lawn's beauty, but removing them permanently is a task

The frequent appearance of weeds, destroying the beauty of well-maintained lawns and gardens, is a headache. The problem is whether weedicides can be used without harming the plants and grass. If pulled out, they reappear with renewed vigour within days or weeks. There are some ways to naturally eliminate weeds without using harmful chemicals.
Using vinegar as a weedicide
For a relatively large garden or lawn, about three and a half litres of vinegar are needed. A tablespoon of dish soap can be added to this. This mixture can be directly sprayed on the weeds. The acetic acid in vinegar destroys the cell walls of weeds and removes moisture, causing them to perish quickly. However, care must be taken to avoid adverse impact on nearby plants.
Weed killing blow torches
Weed killer blow torches, specifically designed to naturally eliminate weeds, are available in the market. These weed torches help to burn the weeds by accurately targeting them. This is an excellent way to eliminate weeds growing between interlocking bricks in the yard. When using weed torches, ensure that nothing flammable is nearby.
Essential oils
Essential oils extracted from fragrant plants can be used as weed killers. Tea tree oil, clove oil, or cinnamon oil can be used. For a medium-sized garden or lawn, take one to one and a half cups of water and add 15-20 drops of oil. Add a drop of dish soap and the solution is ready. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the weeds.
Soil and grass health is important
If the soil is healthy, it will be easier to prevent weeds from spreading. Use organic fertilizer to ensure soil health. Check the soil's pH level and nutrients. Ensure that water does not stagnate in the soil and that there is proper drainage.
Attention to mowing
When mowing the lawn, maintain a height at regular intervals. If the grass is too short, weeds can easily grow through it. However, if the grass is taller and denser, it will be difficult for weeds to survive.
Watering should also be considered
Weeds often have very shallow roots. Watering three or four times a week for 10 minutes will benefit weeds more than grass. Therefore, increase the interval between watering the lawn.
