'Superb, creative work Advaidh, God bless, love you,' Rajinikant said in the voice message.

Only few months ago, Advaidh Manazhy, a class IX student hailing from Kochi was busy shuffling Rubik's cubes for hours on end to create portraits of well-known figures as a hobby. Now he's busy giving interviews to various media houses, thanks to his exceptional calibre and unwavering patience in the job that he has been engaged in for the past many months.

Though he was appreciated by people who witnessed the portraits made by Advaidh, his speechless moment came when none other than Tamil superstar Rajinikant send him a voice note of appreciation for the portrait he had created of him. The voice note has since gone viral taking Advaidh's popularity to new heights.

'Superb, creative work Advaidh, God bless, love you,' the maverick star said in the voice message.

In reply, Advaidh sent a message saying he considered it as 'an opportunity and a blessing' from the star.

Advaidh is thrilled over the message and is enjoying the rise of his fame over his talent and the accolades he has been winning of late. He had received a similar voice message of praise from veteran singer K S Chitra for the portrait he had made of her.

Known as Rubik's Cube Mosaic Art, Advaidh had shot into fame last month by it, when the Universal Records Forum (URF), an India-based records organization presented him with a certificate of merit. He was felicitated for completing a portrait of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. He had clocked a record time of 56.05 minutes during a stage performance at the clubhouse of his apartment complex in Kakkanad, Kochi.

Advaidh has been into solving Rubik's cube since the age of seven. But his passion for the portrait began only recently, with the onset of the pandemic induced lockdown, to be precise. And he has made around 25 portraits of prominent figures, including prime minister Narendra Modi, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, actors Mammootty and Mohanlal, and so on.

Now in class X at Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, Advaidh is busy with creating three characters of Pokemon cartoon and also a portrait of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.
