Family is about being together, sharing, and communicating. Everyone yearns for peace and quiet at home. Even tiny fights in the family can be upsetting. » Eat together: Dining rooms are an important place that brings the family together. Instead of opting for different meal times, try to eat at least one meal together. That can be the time to talk about your day and have light-hearted communication.

» Read together: Make some time to read. You can read for children or ask them to read for you. This also helps in improving their reading habit. You can also take this time to communicate with them and also clear their doubts.

» Walking: It is a good idea to go for morning walks together. That will also help in having conversations.

» Watch a film: How about watching a film this weekend? If not you can opt for the various OTT options at home. But make sure all are present there and enjoying the experience.

» Sharing: Housework can be shared by all members of the family. It’s high time we realise that housework or cooking isn’t just meant for women in a family. It can be shared equally by the husband, wife, and grown-up children. Train your kids to make beds, fold washed clothes, or water plants. After all many hands make for light work!
