Bengaluru bride's detour through metro rail to avoid traffic block goes viral

When a bride's vehicle stuck in the traffic block she took a metro to reach the venue on time

It was only a few days ago that the internet went abuzz by a groom in Kannur who decided to arrive at the wedding venue on a camel. Youngsters are now eager to do something unique on their wedding day to make it memorable and extra special. Reaching the venue in luxury cars or bikes is not a new thing. Meanwhile, there are bridegrooms who prefer walking or even jogging to the venue to meet their brides. And now, it's the video of a bride in Bengaluru taking a metro train to reach her venue, that has become a rage on social media. However, she didn’t do this just to become an overnight internet sensation. She chose the metro in order to escape the heavy traffic in Bengaluru city.

The woman was worried whether she would get stuck in the heavy traffic during the peak hours in the city. Interestingly, she entered the metro in her bridal trousseau, with all the embellishments, drawing attention from fellow passengers.

The video had appeared in the ‘X’ account (formerly Twitter) called ‘Forever Bengaluru’ with the note, “Smart Bengaluru bride ditches car and takes metro to reach wedding hall just before her marriage muhoortham time’. She is accompanied by her parents and other relatives too.

The netizens seemed impressed, saying that the bride showcased simplicity of the modern times by throwing away age old wedding traditions. The woman, meanwhile, is showered by wishes from all over. Many say that this is something that anyone living in metro cities could adopt.
