Aathitiyan Somu - investing in early-stage start-ups

Aathitiyan Somu, a passionate entrepreneur from Erode started his first business at the age of 19. A strong believer that there is no substitute for hard work. He co-founded HeroTalkies with his brother Pradeep Somu. By the end of 2017, HeroTalkies was the largest Tamil OTT service outside India and was recently acquired by Yupp TV. He and his partners currently run a fund which invests in early-stage startups.

Aathitiyan will be one of the speakers at Manoramaonline Geojit Techspectations 2018, which will be held at Kochi on November 24. 'Rebuild, Regain and Retain' is the motto of Techspectations 2018, a get together where some of the nest minds in the field of global digital technology will discuss the developments that are animating the sector.
