Deadline for renewal of trading license extended in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has extended the date for renewal of validity period of trade license without penalty to December 31.

The deadline was extended considering pandemic induced lockdown and its adverse effect on business sector.

The trade license renewal fee under Kerala Money Lenders’ Act, 1958, and Kerala General Sales Tax Act, 1963 is paid to the local body governments of the state.
