Kerala extends deadline for payment of property tax to Dec 31

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government on Tuesday extended the deadline for payment of property tax without fine till December 31.

The deadline had been extended to August 31 earlier.

The decision comes as a relief to the business class reeling under the financial crisis induced by the pandemic.

Property tax is collected by local bodies of a state.
