Bengaluru: Superbike maker Ultraviolette has introduced its Type 2 Charging Interface. The interface makes it possible for every electric 2-wheeler in the country to be charged at over 4000 AC car charging stations and over 100,000 AC Type 2 car chargers.
“The development of this charging interface is aimed at enabling inter-city touring for Ultraviolette F77 customers. Ultraviolette has taken the lead in the industry to address a pressing need for multiple charging options, and with UVLYNC, a convenient and standardised interface, all E2W owners can now tap into the widely available network of AC car charging stations, significantly expanding their charging options,” the company said in a statement.
Niraj Rajmohan, co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette commented, “By providing a universal interface, this solution expands charging possibilities and fosters greater confidence in embracing electric mobility. As more riders transition to EVs, the UVLYNC will not only simplify daily charging needs but also accelerate the development of an inclusive and robust electric ecosystem nationwide.” The UVLYNC is priced at Rs 2,999.
