New Delhi: Ahead of the Budget Session on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that India will achieve its vision of Viksit Bharat, stating that this session will infuse new energy and hope into the nation.

Addressing the media before the session, PM Modi invoked Maa Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, seeking her blessings, particularly for the poor and middle class, reported IANS.

"It is a moment of great pride that India has completed 75 years as a democratic nation and has firmly established itself on the global stage," he remarked.

The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of this budget: "This is the first full budget of my third term. By 2047, when India marks 100 years of independence, I am confident that our dream of Viksit Bharat will be realised. This budget will be a catalyst, inspiring 140 crore citizens to work towards this goal."
