Kochi: HLL Opticals, a division of the central PSU HLL Lifecare, will open a new outlet at Kalamassery Medical College. Launched to provide high-quality ophthalmic products, the shop will commence operations in November.

HLL Lifecare is a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The expansion is part of its development plans for its diamond jubilee year, a press release issued by HLL Lifecare said.

HLL Opticals already functions in Kannur district hospital, Kozhikode, Alappuzha and Thrissur Medical Colleges, and Vythiri Taluk Hospital in Wayanad. HLL Opticals provides products priced up to 40 per cent below the market rate, the press release said.
