The software export revenue from IT/ITeS companies at Technopark grew by 10 per cent in 2024–25, reaching ₹14,575 crore, up from ₹13,255 crore in the previous year, according to a statement on Wednesday.

Spread across 768.63 acres with 12.72 million sq ft of built-up space, Technopark currently hosts around 500 IT/ITeS companies, generating 80,000 direct jobs and over two lakh indirect jobs.

"The robust growth underscores the strength of Kerala's IT ecosystem and the professionalism of the companies operating from the campus," said Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark. He added that the world-class infrastructure, backed by a highly skilled talent pool, reinforces Kerala's position as a leading IT destination in India.

Kerala’s first IT corridor, which developed along the National Highway from Kazhakkoottam to Kovalam, has now become a nucleus of high-tech activity with Technopark at its core, the statement added. The ongoing development of its phase III and phase IV campuses will further consolidate its position as one of the country’s largest IT hubs, it said.

Several Technopark-based firms also earned national and international recognition during the year for business growth, innovation, and workplace excellence. The campus has also emerged as a key hub for one of India’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems, the statement noted.
