Malayalam filmmaker O Ramadas passes away

Chennai: Noted Malayalam filmmaker O Ramadas passed away here on Tuesday. He was 80.
He had been undergoing treatment for age related treatment for quite sometime now.
He had directed films like Varum Varunnu Vannu, Vazhi Pizhacha Santhathy, Krishna Parundu and Vayanadan Pennu.
He had also acted in 70 films and worked as an associate director of around 100 films.
Actor Kamaladevi is his wife. She has worked with him in four films. The couple has three children – Viji, Sreesanthi and Vijayalakshmi.
The cremation was held on Wednesday.
