Kochi: The Manorama-IBS Yuva Mastermind will be held on January 19 and 20 at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium at Kadavanthra here. The event will be a platform where school and college students will showcase effective and innovative technology-based solutions to routine problems.

There will be separate section for non-student innovators. The presentation of projects will be from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday. The range of solutions will cover anything from a kitchen chore to a hospital function.

The entry to the venue is free. Schools and colleges could book their entry in advance. They could call 0484-4447417, 4447411 between 10 am and 5 pm.

Indian Space Research Organisation chairman K Sivan will honour the winners at 10 :30 am on Sunday. Dr Sivan will interact with students selected for the Mastermind finale at an event called Samvad with Students.
