Kannur: A country-made bomb was hurled at the house of CPI Thalassery local secretary Karayi Surendran on Monday.

CPI alleged that RSS workers were behind the attack. CPI leaders said that the gang approached Surendran's house by shouting slogans. His house was later visited by CPI-CPM leaders.

RSS office in this area was also attacked the other day.
