Counting of votes is being held in Kerala, amid raging COVID pandemic, as the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) seeks to retain power, while the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) attempts to regain its turf. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which had won one seat in 2016, is confident of garnering more seats this time in the state.
