Mumbai  : The Mumbai High Court on Tuesday allowed Binoy Kodiyeri to reply to the plea filed by a woman from Bihar to make public the DNA test report of Binoy in connection with a rape case.

Binoy's lawyer had requested for more time when the case was considered online on Tuesday. The case will be considered next on February 10.

The woman filed the petition a month ago when the DNA test result got delayed. The woman, who was earlier a dancer at a dance bar, had filed a complaint in 2019 alleging that Binoy Kodiyeri had sexually assaulted her for several years promising to marry her and a son was also born out of their relationship.

The DNA test was ordered as per the court order, The test results were handed over to the Mumbai Polcie as a confidential document almost a year ago.

The court is also considering Binoy's plea to close the case against him.
