Thiruvananthapuram: P N Hena, the deputy chief law officer of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been placed under suspension for her failure to submit a proper affidavit before the High Court in the KSRTC-SWIFT (K-SWIFT) case.

The case was filed by TDF and BMS, two trade unions in the KSRTC, against the formation of K-SWIFT, a new company within the corporation.

Even though the state government had initially issued an order regarding the formation of K-SWIFT, it had later withdrawn it and issued a new order. Hena was suspended for failing to inform the court about these developments.
