Kochi: Film actor and mimicry artist Tini Tom has praised the Kerala Police for promptly nabbing a person who was stalking and abusing him on phone for over three months.

The actor went live on the social media account of the Cybercell of the Kerala Police to thank the police. He also shared the video on his social media account.

Tini says the accused was nabbed within 10 minutes of lodging the complaint.

The actor said the youth who introduced himself as Shias has been abusing him over phone for the past several months. “When I blocked his number he called from a different number. His main  objective was to record my statements and make it public,” the actor said.

Tini said he decided to lodge a complaint with the police when things went beyond control and there was no end to the harassment.

The police tracked him down within 10 minutes. “He is a small boy. Considering his future, I decided not to press for the complaint. Moreover, I  got to know that he has some minor mental health issues,” said Tini.

Speaking on the occasion, Tini said that if there is no external interference then the Kerala Police is the best.
