Kozhikode KWA engineer caught taking bribe from contractor a third time

Kozhikode: An assistant engineer in the Kerala Water Authority was nabbed by the Vigilance Department while taking a bribe.
PT Sunil Kumar, who was posted at the Sarovaram Sub Division Office here was caught while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a contractor.
The contractor whose contract period had expired in October had been visiting the office to claim his deposit, which was being withheld.
It has emerged that Sunil Kumar had taken bribe from the contractor on two other occasions. However, on the third time, the contractor informed the vigilance department.
