Malayalam director Liju Krishna, whose debut film 'Padavettu' starring Nivin Pauly is under production, was arrested on sexual assault charges on Sunday.
The arrest was recorded by the Kakkanad Infopark Police based the complaint of a woman who was part of the film.
Liju was taken into custody from a movie location at Kannur.
Liju is also the screenwriter of the film that was being produced by Sunny Wayne.
