2,200kg red sandalwood hidden in oil tanker seized from Kochi

At least 2,200 kg red sandalwood was confiscated from inside an oil tanker in Kochi on Tuesday.

A team of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) conducted the raid on the cargo that was brought from Andhra Pradesh.

According to reports, the red sandalwood was to be shipped to Dubai. An enquiry has been launched.
