Munnar: A US woman who was on a tour in Kerala collapsed and died at a five-star hotel in Pothamedu here on Sunday. The decesaed is Norma Grace (68) from New Jersey.
Munnar Police said that Norma Grace had come to Coimbatore to attend the wedding of her friend. On Sunday at around 7 am others found her lying unconscious inside her room and was rushed to the nearest private hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
A seven-member team including the deceased reached Munnar on Saturday.
Cops who conducted the inquest at the private hospital said that she had wheezzing issues and had carried nebulisation equipment with her. Her post-mortem will be held in Idukki Government Medical College Hospital on Monday morning.
