Malappuram: The Health Department has published a route map of the 14-year-old Malappuram boy who is under treatment for the Nipah virus.

At 6.50 am on July 11, the boy left his house at Chembrasseri in Pandikkad. He took the 'CPB' bus and reached 'Bright Tuition Centre' at Pandikkad at 7.18 am.

On July 12, the boy was at Dr Vijayan's Clinic between 8 and 8.30 am. On July 13, the boy consulted at the Paediatric OP of PKM Hospital between 7 and 7.30 am.

On July 15, the boy was in the Emergency and OP ward of PKM Hospital from 8.30 am to 8 pm. The same day, from 8.30 pm, he was admitted to the Emergency ICU of Moulana Hospital.

The Health Department has urged those who visited the above-mentioned places during the specified period or came in contact with the patient, to call the Control Room at 0483-2732010, 0482-2732050.

The boy is undergoing specialised treatment at the Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode. So far, 214 persons have been placed under observation, of whom 60 are placed in the high-risk category.
