Malappuram: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after a window frame fell on him at Puliyakkode near Kizhisseri here on Thursday. The child, Noor Aiman, was the son of Muhsin of Puniayanikkottil and Junaina Tasniya of Karattuparambu Valiyarakund.

The child’s mother, a college student, was preparing to leave for her classes when an old window frame stored in the house fell on the boy while he was playing. Although he was rushed to a private hospital in Kizhisseri immediately, his life could not be saved.
