Kollam: A bus driver and cleaner were recently remanded for 14 days after the Sakthikulangara police booked them based on complaints from eight students for speaking in a sexually suggestive manner and attempting to assault them. 

The accused are Subhash (51) and Sabu (53). Initially, the students wrote a complaint to the principal, which was then forwarded to the police.

The police recorded each student's statement separately and registered eight POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) cases. Six cases were registered against Sabu and two against Subhash.
