Malappuram: The Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University has been temporarily closed following a food poisoning incident, reported Manorama News.
The Registrar instructed students to vacate the hostel immediately after several people who consumed food from the women’s hostel canteen fell ill.  

Reports reveal that both campus canteens were operating without proper licences. Further investigation is ongoing.
