Kalladikkodu: When a means of public utility functions so smoothly that the users and the service providers are equally supportive and appreciative of one another, it becomes a family. This was evident when Manjadikkal Transport, regarded as the ‘own bus service’ of the Kalladikodan high ranges, organised a special felicitation ceremony for students who regularly commute on its route and have excelled academically.

What made the event truly special was its venue - right on board the bus that runs the Kalladikkodu–Moonnekkar route. The function was organised by the bus owner and staff, honouring students who achieved outstanding results in the previous academic year. Manjadikkal Transport is the only bus service that reaches the remote Moonnekkar region, making it a vital lifeline for locals.

Karimba Panchayat member Anitha Santosh presided over the event. Sister Theresa, Mother Superior of the Chulliyamkulam Holy Family Convent and Usthad Shamsudheen of the Moonnekkar Masjid distributed the awards. Thomas Mathew, Lijo Thomas, and others also addressed the gathering.

Students who were felicitated included Albin K Joshi and Abhiya Thomas, who scored A+ in all subjects in the SSLC examination, Adwait Mahesh and Joshua Praveen, winners in the LSS examination and Sangeeha Santosh and Najiya Naisal, who excelled in the USS examination.
