Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has issued a fresh order appointing six police officials to the Raj Bhavan security wing. According to an official communication by the Home Department, dated July 21, the decision followed a report from the State Police Chief.
The officers assigned to the new postings are Arun Kumar V S, Gopakumar A, Himesh M S, Subhash S, Aneesh J B, Rajesh Kumar S, and Rajesh C R.
This comes weeks after an earlier list of six officers, recommended by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to the Director General of Police (DGP), was approved on June 29 but abruptly revoked by the state government the very next day—on June 30—without citing any reasons.
