Kozhikode: Muhammed Sali (35), a vlogger from Kasaragod, has been arrested by Koyilandy police at Mangaluru airport for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl after promising to marry her. Sali, known on social media as "Shalu King Media," "Shalu King Vlogs," and "Shalu King Family," has been active online for the past seven years.

The relationship between Sali and the minor girl reportedly began on Instagram and Snapchat during a period of conflict with his first wife. Sali, who has three children from his first marriage, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl under the pretence of future marriage.

When Sali travelled abroad following the registration of a case against him, Koyilandy police issued a lookout notice against him. He was arrested upon his return to Mangaluru airport. He was produced at the Koyilandy JCM court following a medical examination and remanded into judicial custody.
