Kollam: 'Ananthabhadram – 2,' a painting exhibition by artists Bhadran Karthika and S R Bhadran, based on the theme "the earth belongs to all living beings," is currently underway at Sopanam Quilon Art Gallery.

The paintings reflect the artists’ concerns about the degradation of nature and serve as a visual protest against environmental destruction. Former minister K Raju inaugurated the exhibition. Public Library Joint Secretary K Amruthalal presided over the event. Public Library Secretary R Prathap Nair, art and cultural activists Sudharshanan Aalumoottil, State Chithrakala Parishath Treasurer K J Anilkumar, photographer Dathan Punaloor, and District Treasurer of Chithrakala Parishath Sreekumar Venpalakkara also spoke.

The exhibition will remain open to the public from 11 am to 6 pm till July 31. Both Bhadran Karthika and S R Bhadran, who hold degrees in advertising art, became active in the art exhibition scene following their retirement.
