Bones were recovered from the premises of a vacant house in Pallippuram, Cherthala on Monday. Police suspect they may belong to Jainamma, a native of Ettumanoor in Kottayam, who went missing on December 23, 2024.
The search was part of the ongoing investigation into her disappearance, following the last location of her mobile phone, which was traced to Pallippuram. The property is owned by Sebastian, an accused in the 2017 missing case of Bindu Padmanabhan from Cherthala. Further investigation is underway.
