Kollam: Police have arrested Sunil, a native of Mylakkad in Kottiyam, for repeatedly flashing at a female passenger on a KSRTC bus. A lookout notice was issued after he went into hiding. He was later apprehended near the Ithikkara bridge.

The incident occurred around 10.50 pm on Monday when a young woman, returning home after PSC coaching, boarded a Mavelikkara Fast Passenger bus from Kottiyam Junction. During the journey, as the bus reached Mevaram, a man seated opposite her exposed himself multiple times. The woman recorded the act on her phone and submitted the footage to Kollam East Police. They confirmed Sunil's identity using the video and took him into custody.

The footage went viral on social media and television. Local residents who recognised the accused from the footage confronted him at his residence, but Sunil denied involvement and fled after they dispersed.
